At Loggerheads- Brooke Edens, a scientist who studies loggerhead sea turtles, has longed for a sense of home and belonging ever since her return to Anders Isle. But something is amiss on the Lowcountry island where she grew up. For years, loggerheads have been disappearing from the beach and development has been encroaching on the island’s natural beauty. When a dead body is found on the same day as a mutilated loggerhead, Brooke uses clues from her knowledge of sea turtles to help a local detective investigate the crimes surfacing on their small island.

Sarah’s Secret- A coming-of-age novel of a fourteen-year-old girl named Sarah, who will go on to become the real-life mistress of True Blue Plantation in present-day Pawleys Island, until her death in 1823. The novel is fiction, but it is based on the author’s research and many years of living on the grounds of the former plantation. In 2004 Rogers founded a non-profit to restore the Pawley Family Cemetery at True Blue. Today it is still quietly and meticulously cared for.
